On 8th April 2019, The President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind released National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) India Rankings 2019 for higher educational institutions at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.

The NIPER Hyderabad has secured the 6th position in ‘Pharmacy’ category out of all Pharmacy institutions from all over India.

Dr. Shashi Bala Singh, Director, NIPER Hyderabad received the honour/award on behalf of the NIPER Hyderabad. On this achievement, Dr. Shashi Bala Singh, Director, congratulated all the faculty, students and staff members, and expressed his thanks to all who contributed their dedicated research oriented hard work which resulted into this successful achievement bringing laurels to the Institute.

The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) was approved by the MHRD and launched by Honourable Minister of Human Resource Development on 29th September 2015. This framework outlines a methodology to rank institutions across the country. The methodology draws from the overall recommendations broad understanding arrived at by a Core Committee set up by MHRD, to identify the broad parameters for ranking various universities and institutions. The parameters broadly cover “Teaching, Learning and Resources,” “Research and Professional Practices,” “Graduation Outcomes,” “Outreach and Inclusivity,” and “Perception”.

On 3rd April 2018, Shri. Prakash Javadekar, Hon'ble Minister of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India released National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) India Rankings 2018 for higher educational institutions in the presence of Minister of state HRD Shri Satya Pal Singh at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.

The NIPER Hyderabad has secured the 6th position (score: 67.68) in ‘Pharmacy’ category out of 286 Pharmacy institutions from all over India. In Teaching, Learning & Resources (TLR) parameter, NIPER Hyderabad bagged the 2nd position (Score: 80.14) in the same category.




Prof. B. Rajeswara Reddy, Registrar, NIPER Hyderabad received the honour/award on behalf of the NIPER Hyderabad. On this achievement, Dr. S. Chandrasekhar, Director, CSIR – IICT, Mentor Director, NIPER-Hyderabad congratulated all the faculty, students and staff members, and expressed his thanks to all who contributed their dedicated research oriented hard work which resulted into this successful achievement bringing laurels to the Institute.

The NIPER Hyderabad has secured the 5th position (score: 65.14) in ‘Pharmacy’ category, out of 316 Pharmacy institutions from all over India, 58th Rank (Score: 42.74.80) under Overall category and In Teaching, Learning & Resources (TLR) parameter, NIPER Hyderabad bagged the 1st Rank (Score: 88.80) in the same category.
